How Simulated Crypto Markets Work
Simulated markets let users practice decision flow without treating demo credits as cash. The key mechanics are round timing, lock rules, reference prices, and settlement evidence.
Timed rounds create a defined decision window
Each market has a start, lock, and expiry time. Users can choose UP or DOWN only before the lock window, then the server compares the settlement reference price with the entry reference price.
Demo credits are not deposits
StreamTrade demo credits are used for education, interface testing, and competition. They are not cash, crypto, a deposit balance, or a redeemable asset.
Settlement evidence matters
A production-ready market experience needs reviewable settlement records: source price, entry price, expiry price, outcome, payout, and any void or refund reason.
